As I mentioned here back on March 8 (see the comments under "A Little Help?"), Aya Sugimoto - who stars as Shizuko Tôyama in Takashi Ishii's Flower and Snake 2: Paris/Shizuko (Hana to hebi 2: Pari/Shizuko) - is also in Hajime Hashimoto's Gokudô no onna-tachi: jôen, which is being released theatrically in Japan next Saturday (March 26). In the trailer for Gokudô no onna-tachi: jôen linked to below, Sugimoto's the one with a tattoo of a roaring white Bengal tiger. Reiko Takashima is the lead actress in the film.

The official website for both Tomie: Beginning and Tomie: Revenge is now online. Both movies were directed by Ataru Oikawa, who also directed the first movie in that franchise. In Tomie: Beginning, Tomie Kawakami is played by Rio Matsumoto; in Tomie: Revenge, she's played by Anri Ban. Tomie: Beginning premières at the Theatre Ikebukuro in Tokyo on Saturday April 9, where it will play for a week; the following Saturday - April 16 - Tomie: Revenge premières there, where it, too, will play for a week.
