Zebraman. by Takashi Miike. VCD Out In Thailand. DVD To Follow? English Subtitles?

zebrmanthai.jpgI couldn't see any info on whether it has English subtitles or not, so anyone who knows Thaid VCD / DVD suppliers other than ethaicd.com should nose around and see.

Having said that, it's the most hopeful sign of the possibility of a English subtitled DVD coming out anywhere soon. Personally, I just plumped for a factory-pressed bootleg from eBay incase there wasn't one for ages, and then the eBay ones might start disappearing too. Anyhow, look at the Thai listing here.

Other Miike news : according to AICN, Miike has a small cameo in "Rinjin 13" aka "Neighbour No.13".

i took my first look at ethaicd and they also had "casshern" on vcd too... bizarre. are we in bootleg territory? are there any other good thai sites like it?

And, no, definitely not boots on Ethai. They're legit releases only. ThaiCDExpress.com is also supposed to be quite good, though I've never purchased from them. They don't have any listing for Zebraman at all.

Yes, they should release DVD version within a week. For this company, I recently found that all of their new DVDs are in NTSC system but with Thai subtitles only. So I'm afraid that Zebraman DVD might be available with Thai sub only.

We should wait for the exact release on this DVD. I will email to you as soon as we have this DVD on sale.

Yes indead,

Miike has a small role in The Neighbour N°13, unfortunally for the fans he doesn't last five seconds! Inoue Yasuo has done a great job in translating Inoue Santa's manga to the big screen. Don't expect Miike violence though! This movie is a hole different ballgame!
