Tom Yum Goong Footage! New Stuff From Tony Jaa and the Ong Bak Crew!

(Posted In)

tygposter.jpgGlory, hallelujah!

The first glimpse of finished footage from Tom Yum Goong - the new film from the director and star of Ong Bak - has turned up online and we've got it! People over on the Tony Jaa forums found a video clip from a Thai news show that includes around a minute of finalized footage from the film - as well as a snippet of an upcoming Tom Yum Goong video game - in both streaming and downloadable versions, but both servers frankly sucked. So, after spending a half hour or so downloading and re-downloading until finally getting the whole file we're opting to host the thing here at Twitch so people can see just why we're convinced that Tony Jaa will be the world's next major action star without having to gnaw their own limbs off in frustration thanks to the download continually crapping out.

Click here for two and a half minutes of press-conference goodness! The film footage starts at about the one minute mark.

Don't forget about SHA PO LANG coming out in HK. It stars Donnie Yen, Sammo Hung and Wu Jing. That is my most anticipated MA film this year...

The little of what we saw from the film looked very good but that game footage looked horrible.
