Rinjin 13 Poster, Full Length Trailer, And Website Update

A couple weeks back we posted a link to the website for Rinjin 13, a live adaptation of a violent Japanese manga. Well, Logboy just turned up that official poster you see to the left and a quick perusal turned up a major site redesign, including a full length trailer. The poster I love, the website I love, the trailer .... not so much. There are parts of it that look quite nice, but there are others that just look incredibly low budget, and not in a good way. It's like there are at least two films competing to get out here ...

Where do you see those "incredibly low budget" things that you mentioned? The trailer looks pretty consistent to me and there are very cool shots in it. The only thing that ruind it was that god awful pop song that came in the middle.

AICN just posted a couple of reviews from the Rotterdam festival, here and here. Overall response seems to be a hearty "meh".
